Key Features
- Smooth cast scroll profile with controlled wall thickness for stable, low-turbulence airflow.
- Machined bearing bore and motor flange keep the fan impeller concentric, reducing noise and bearing load.
- Corrosion-resistant alloy and coating system withstands liquid fertilizer and pesticide contact.
- Integrated outlet flange and nozzle ring bosses reduce the number of assembled parts.
- Lightweight aluminium version lowers the sprayer center of gravity on narrow-track vineyard chassis.
- Drain and inspection ports cast in to simplify wash-down and service.
- Optional stainless or coated ferrous version for high-pressure air-assisted sprayers.
Applications
- Vineyard and orchard air-assisted sprayer fan housings
- Trailed and mounted orchard mist blower fan scrolls
- Specialty crop sprayer axial fan housings
- Greenhouse and nursery air circulation units
- Replacement housings for sprayer service networks
Quality & Compliance
Housings are built under an IATF 16949 certified system, with EN 10204 3.1 material certification covering alloy chemistry, heat treatment and mechanical test results. First-article inspection documents the machined bore, flange flatness and scroll geometry, and includes dye penetrant and coating thickness records before series production starts.
FAQ
Which material is better for pesticide contact, aluminium or steel?
A356-T6 with a qualified epoxy and polyurethane coating system is the standard choice. For highly aggressive products or high-pressure cleaning we recommend cast AISI 316L stainless.
Can you hold the scroll profile accurately?
Yes. The wax tool is cut to the final scroll geometry, and the as-cast profile is verified on a CMM during first-article inspection plus at defined intervals during production.
Do you machine the motor and bearing seats?
We machine the bearing bore to H7 and the motor flange face flat to 0.15 mm, and we check concentricity to the scroll axis so the impeller does not rub.
Can you supply the nozzle ring as well?
Yes. We can cast and machine the nozzle ring, outlet flange and mounting brackets as a matched set with the housing.
How is the housing protected in transit?
Machined faces are covered with protective caps, the housing is wrapped in VCI film and foam, then boxed or crated on heat-treated pallets for export.
